Real places, carried into the work

A ward, a studio, a construction site, a courtroom. This is where the learning actually happens. Then the work comes back as text on a screen, and the place it came from is nowhere in it.

Panova keeps the place in the work. The environment is captured as an image, the details that matter are pinned, and the reasoning sits on the exact spot it belongs to. What a student hands in is the scene itself, still carrying where they stood.

Every cable terminates here. The pylon carries the full weight of the deck down into the foundation, which is why its geometry leans back against the load.

Hospitality

A hospitality student on placement photographs the dining room before service. They pin the service counter, the trolley route and the table spacing, and annotate how each decision shapes a guest’s experience of the room. What they submit shows how they read a real operation, not how well they can describe one in general.

Health precinct planning

A health planning student is given an aerial of a working hospital precinct. They pin the helipad, the arrival loop and the rooftop plant, and annotate how emergency access, patient flow and building services share one constrained site. The scene is specific, so the reasoning has to be too.

Commerce

A commerce student is given the process diagram for a real supply chain. Nothing about it is generic; it belongs to one operation with one set of constraints. They pin the bottleneck, the handoff and the point of failure, and annotate why each behaves the way it does in this operation. What they submit shows how they read the diagram, not how well they can write about supply chains in general.

Contexts
Every order passes through this stage and its capacity is fixed. Whatever the rest of the chain does, throughput is decided here.
Ownership changes here, and so does the information system. The delay isn't in the moving; it's in the two records that have to agree.
A single carrier with no alternative route. This operation accepts the risk because the volume doesn't justify a second contract, and that trade-off is the lesson.
